National Library Legislative Day 2008

Save the Dates!
May 13 and 14, 2008

On May 13 & 14, 2007, librarians of all kinds are invited to Washington, DC, for an event like no other: National Library Legislative Day (NLLD).

National Library Legislative Day (NLLD) is a two-day event in which people who care about libraries participate in advocacy and issue training sessions, interact with Capitol Hill insiders, and visit congressional member offices to ask Congress to pass legislation that supports libraries.

For more information about library legislative day email Debbie Malone at Debbie.malone@desales.edu and check the ALA Washington Office web page at http://www.ala.org/nlld.

The ALA Briefing Day on May is held at the Holiday Inn on the Hill but that hotel is booked. Information on alternative hotels is available from the ALA Washington Office web page at http://www.ala.org/washoff/ and you can click on "Events" in the left hand column.

Complete the Registration Form and return it to PaLA.
