Welcome to the Official Website of the Juniata-Conemaugh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Library Association. The JC Chapter of PALA covers the following counties: Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, and Mifflin.

If you work in a library in one of these counties and join PALA, you automatically become a member in the Juniata-Conemaugh Chapter. Why not get involved on one of our committees? It’s a great way to make connections with other librarians and help advocate for all Pennsylvania libraries.

There are a wide variety of ways the Juniata-Conemaugh Chapter of PALA can help members. Our program presentations are a fantastic source of continuing education (some topics covered in past programs include privacy issues, digital preservation, and children’s literature), and the mentoring program is a valuable resource for people new to library work.

Please consider attending one of annual social programs—network with other librarians, learn about the many faces of the library profession, and have fun all at the same time.

Please check this website regularly, as new opportunities and programs will be listed as they’re scheduled.
