byDolores Fidishun, Ed.D., Head
Librarian at Penn State Abington College and Penn State Great Valley
Description:Do you have an iPad? Do your patrons
have them? Would you like to be able to add them to the list of services your
library offers? This session will discuss the pros and cons of circulating
iPads and will share our experiences in signing them out to undergraduate
students at Penn State Abington. What policies and procedures do you need to
put into place? How do you keep them secure? Do you really get them back and
what happens if someone breaks one? Learn from both our fun and our challenges.
Bring your questions and your ideas about how this popular technology can be
integrated into your library.
Instructions for joining the program will be emailed to registrants.
Participants will watch and listen in Adobe Connect, with the ability to ask
questions via chat.
