DATE / TIME: Wednesday, November 13, 12:30 – 1 p.m. sign in and lunch / 1 – 4:30 p.m. workshop

LOCATION: Hampton Community Library, 3101 McCully Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101

REGISTRATION: Registration fee is $25 per person, covering lunch, refreshments, and materials.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: November 6, 2013

CONTENT: This interactive, "how to” workshop will help you develop a strong, consistent message about your library’s role in building literacy skills in your community – and you’ll earn 3.5 CE credits, too. Topics include:

• PA Forward overview and update on opportunities for libraries
• PA Forward’s PR Toolkit and how to use it
• Building effective partnerships
• Communicate your library’s value anywhere, anytime (even in an elevator)
• Best practices for the five literacies and for communications/advocacy
• Graffiti Walls capturing your literacy practices and partnerships
