- Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Conference
Biannual conference of the association featuring many big names in the field. Program presentation is competitive, but there are other opportunities for new presenters, such as poster sessions and the Cyber Zed Shed. Typically held in mid-April.
- Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) Research Forum
Practitioners, new researchers, and experienced researchers are all encouraged to present. Both members and non-members of ACRL are welcome to submit. Those selected will be expected to present their papers in person at the forum at ALA Annual and to register for the conference.

Computers in Libraries bills themselves “the most comprehensive North American conference and exhibition on all aspects of library and information delivery technology.” Annually held in Washington, DC in April.

- Library & Information Technology Association (LITA) - LITA National Forum
With a focus on technology, LITA supports librarians across all types of libraries and emphasizes the exploration of new technologies. LITA National Forum is held annually.
- LOEX Annual Conference
LOEX (Library Orientation Exchange) is an energizing conference for instruction and information literacy librarians. Both breakout sessions and brief lightning talks may be proposed.
- Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo & Conference
The Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference (PETE&C) is a statewide event that provides quality programs focused on technology in the educational field. Held annually in Hershey, PA.
- Pennsylvania Library Association Annual Conference
Annual conference of the Pennsylvania Library Association, typically held in October. Great networking opportunities and something for everyone, offering general interest programs as well as special interest programs sponsored by each Division and Roundtable.
