Brief Biography: Scott Thomas has been in the library profession for over 30 years in a variety of public service and management positions, but most of his career has been spent managing technology projects in public libraries. He has witnessed many changes including the advent of library automation, the Internet and TCP/IP networks, social media, and open source software. He is currently Executive Director of Pennsylvania Integrated Library System and an adjunct faculty member at Northampton Community College where he teaches library-related courses.
