The PA Library Association Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the Library of the Year Award (new in 2018) to be presented during the 2019 Pennsylvania Library Association Conference, October 13-16 at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie.
This award is given to an individual library that has demonstrated excellence in the following areas within the past year:
- Service to public or academic community
- Innovation in a special project, partnership, or challenge overcome
- Advancing staff development
- Leadership in and support of Association activities such as the Pennsylvania Library Association Academy of Leadership Studies (PALS) and the PA Forward initiative. Institutional membership or the library's support for individual members of the Association will be considered.
Last year’s winner was the Martin Library in York, PA. Previous winners must wait 3-5 years before reapplying.

Don’t delay! All nominations must be submitted by Monday, July 15 at 8 AM.
