Posted By Kimberly Snyder Wise, Wednesday, March 20, 2019

Want a sneak peek at what is in store for the 2019 Pennsylvania Library Association Conference in Erie?

With more than 140 session proposals currently under review by our divisions, round tables, and program committee, the conference will include a plethora of top-notch educational sessions.  The challenge will be to narrow down the choices -- Or, better yet, team up with a coworker to tag team the offerings!

In addition to breathtaking views, offered at the Bayfront Convention Center, Erie offers a variety of sites you'll want to check out such as Presque Isle, numerous museums, and of course Erie wine country.

The conference will also feature keynote presentations by Kathy Parry who will give us tips on how to stretch, not snap, when faced with challenge in her Rubber Band Resilient presentation at the Opening Keynote Luncheon.  America's librarian herself, Nancy Pearl, will wrap up the conference with The Pleasures and Perils of a Life of Reading.
