PaLA recognizes that we have many librarians with great leadership potential and we need to insure that we continue to have good leadership in libraries and in our organization. The PaLA Academy of Leadership Studies (PALS) is a cooperative initiative between PaLA and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries to offer leadership development for librarians to help them reach their full leadership potential.

Attendance for this one-day workshop on Saturday, June 1, is targeted toward librarians who do not possess an MLS/MLIS degree and will enable them to obtain training to help them reach their full leadership potential.

The fee to attend is $35 and includes the program, continental breakfast and lunch.  Transportation is on your own.  Please note: PaLA will not issue refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Substitute attendees are permitted with proper notice.

This project is made possible in part by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor.
