The Library Products & Services Expo offers one of the best opportunities to reach decision-makers in the Pennsylvania library community.  This two-day show offers a concise schedule in an environment that promotes interaction with attendees through no-conflict exhibit time, exhibit hall activities and informal networking opportunities.

Resources for Potential Exhibitors

If your company already does business with libraries or would like to reach this market, you can't afford to miss this show to take place October 16 & 17 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Pittsburgh - Green Tree, conveniently located near the Pittsburgh International Airport and downtown Pittsburgh.

The exhibit hall will be located in the carpeted Green Tree Ballroom on the first floor of the hotel, with convenient load-in and an outside entrance.  The exhibit hall  will be limited to just 72 spaces. (available on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Show Hours:

Monday, October 16, 2017 - 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 17, 2017 - 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Resources for Registered Exhibitors

We appreciate your participation, and are committed to partnering with you to reach the Pennsylvania library community by providing you with a both a pre- and post-show attendee list, no-conflict exhibit times and ample opportunities to connect with attendees at meals and other events outside of the exhibit hall.

Exhibitor Advisory Committee
This group is comprised of library business partner representatives, PaLA members and staff who are committed to the success of the PaLA Exhibits and serves as a resource to exhibitors by providing on-site support and acts as a liaison with facility personnel.

Hotel Information

The Facility
The recently renovated DoubleTree by Hilton, Pittsburgh - Green Tree is conveniently located just outside downtown Pittsburgh and will offer conference-goers the affordability and convenience of a suburb location, but with easy access to city attractions. The exhibits, meetings and food events will all take place on one easily accessible floor, and will allow for easy move-in and move-out of your materials -- view the space.  The exhibits will take place in Ballroom Salons A,B,C with meal events and several breakout spaces located next door in Salons D & E and in the Oakmont Junior Ballroom.  To further draw traffic to the exhibit hall, Poster Sessions have been scheduled to take place in the foyer just outside the exhibit hall.


We have reserved a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Pittsburgh-Green Tree at the conference rate of $139/night plus applicable occupancy taxes. (Currently14%) To make a reservation, call the Reservations Department at 1-800-222-8733 and state that you would like a room under the Pennsylvania Library Association 2017 room block.  Reservations can also be made online under the group name: PA Library Association.  Enter code: PLA to obtain the group rate. A deposit of one night’s rental will be collected at the time of reservation.  

9/22/2017 Update:  The conference block is full, however rooms are available Sunday & Monday at slightly higher rates.  Tuesday night is completely sold out.

If you require lodging on Tuesday, we suggest that you contact the Crowne Plaza located just .5 mile from the conference venue.

Reach Beyond Your Booth

PaLA is committed to helping library suppliers reach customers in the Pennsylvania library community.  In addition to exhibit space, we offer several other ways to connect and increase your visibility with this important group of potential customers.

Showcase Presentations are available exclusively for exhibitors to present a brief program to highlight a product or service to a larger audience than would be possible from their exhibit booth.  What’s more, your showcase presentation may qualify for continuing education credits for those attending your session – a definite draw that should increase attendance and exposure to your product!  PaLA will provide an announcement of the showcase session in the conference program book, the space and equipment -- you showcase your product to a group of potential buyers!  
The cost for one 25-minute presentation period is just $250.

Sponsorship Opportunities are available for several events, and at various levels, but opportunities are limited!  As a PaLA Sponsor, you will be acknowledged:

  • in the Conference Program Book provided to each attendee
  • through signage at the conference 
  • on the PaLA website, with a live link to your company website
  • on PaLA Social Media Outlets
  • on the conference mobile app
  • at the PaLA Annual Business Meeting

Conference Program Book Advertising provides yet another way to highlight your company’s participation at the conference.  The program book is used on-site by each conference attendee and serves as a reference tool for librarians long after the show has ended.  Program ads are a great way to promote your product or service whether you are exhibiting or not.  Ad rates range from $95 - $1200.  Advertising Rates & Specifications
