Get Involved with Round Tables!

A Round Table brings together members with similar interests that cross inter-divisional lines.  A Round Table's activities are not confined by library location, library type or library activity. 

There are currently three Round Tables under the Pennsylvania Library Association.

• Teaching, Learning & Technology
• Technical Services

Join a Round Table as part of your membership registration. Then participate in Round Table activities or volunteer to serve!

Responsibilities of Each Round Table:

Round Table leadership plans programs for the annual conference.  The Round Table coordinates program ideas and related funding for those programs with the association's second vice president.

In addition to annual conference programs, the Round Table may plan programs and meetings of interest to its members.  These may be offered independently throughout the state or in conjunction with chapter or division meetings, as well as electronically.  Registration fees may be required.

Round Tables may communicate with members and the association in a variety of ways:  The Bulletin, statewide and regional electronic mailing lists, as well as this website.
