Library Type Public Description Socrates Cafe is a monthly moderated meeting of adults who discuss current events and topics. Past discussions have been: What is the legacy of the Kavanaugh hearings? Should the Electoral College be abolished? And where do your rights stop and those of others begin? The discussions are facilitator by a former library board member who is an experienced moderator. The discussions are open to the public and all are welcome to attend. The program promotes civic and social literacy. There is a minimal cost as we try to provide snacks to participants.
