Library Type Academic Description The theme for the 2019 Law Day, observed annually on May 1, was Free Speech, Free Press, Free Society. The display showed a timeline of important cases, provided free pocket U.S. Constitutions. The interactive engagement was a contest where students were asked to name the five freedoms guaranteed in the 1st Amendment and submit their answers on a form to be entered into a drawing for prizes. We used free resources from the American Bar Institute's Law Day website to support the program. Total cost for program execution was $40.
