Library Type Public Description: The presenters discussed their experiences running and maintaining a podcast, as well as how they applied and received a creator’s grant from Google. Explored both the technical and creative side of podcasting, as well as a discussion of the various themes their podcast explores (Driving, Race, Rage, Gender, Technology, and Ability). Patrons were engaged, lots of question and answer back and forth, after the event ended people stayed to talk to one another and the hosts, continuing to learn from each other and network. One patron is in the process of starting a podcast and felt like a lot was learned about how to do so. They use the acronym POD. Tags: Adults Civic & Social Literacy Information Literacy Teens |
