Improve Your Financial Wellness!
As part of Bosler’s Summer Learning programming, we are offering basic financial literacy classes in partnership with BB&T Bank. The sessions will run the 3rd Wednesday of each month during the summer. The seminars will talk about the basics of checking accounts and budgeting. The last session will also talk about identity theft and how to protect yourself. In addition to the presentations, Bosler will be holding displays related to each topics presented and offer additional learning materials that attendees can check-out from our collection. The library partnered with BB&T Bank to bring in financial professionals to present on financial topics. The only costs incurred were for the printing of program marketing materials.

Special guest Steven Bomze joined us for a barnyard-themed story time and craft, celebrating the PA One Book. Steven uses both a wheelchair and an iPad to communicate inclusion and tolerance. This program was co-sponsored by CIS (Community Integrated Services), a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with special needs get involved and work to better their community.
