If you will be joining the ranks of Medicare soon, are already in the Medicare system and have questions, are helping a friend or relative obtain Medicare coverage, or just want to understand what Medicare is all about, this session is for you. Learn about Medicare A, B & C; the drug benefit (Part D); the types of health care insurance available in Chester County; benefits available to low income beneficiaries; and things to consider when selecting your medical coverage. Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI, previously APPRISE, is Pennsylvania’s free, unbiased health insurance counseling program. This program supports PA Forward’s Financial Literacy.

T’ai Chi Chih is a moving meditation and can offer benefits with balance, stamina, and stress reduction. The class is free but registration is required. Registration is for the full schedule of classes. This is not a drop-in class. Call the Ridley Park Library to register, (610) 583-7207, or email ridleypark@delcolibraries.org. The class will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Ridley Park Borough Hall meeting room, located at 105 E Ward St.in Ridley Park.

This program is designed to help people looking to identify their own skill set and identify potential job opportunities that will fit with the identified skill set. The program is directed toward students in the last two years of high school, or adults of all ages.
