| Program Description | We welcome Ethan Blumen, editor of My Aging Parents, a free email newsletter of practical tips and strategies about what to expect when you’re expecting older parents. During this presentation, Ethan will share key insights to help us prepare for life with aging parents. “How can you help your parents stay as healthy and independent as possible for as long as possible — without taking years off your own life in the process?” he writes. “Because the next part of your parents’ journey is absolutely going to affect the next part of yours.” Ethan will connect with us virtually, but the program will be held in our Carlson room. He will be happy to engage with attendees afterward. A representative from the Lancaster Area on Aging will also be here in person to help with questions about local resources. Registration is requested. We will admit walk-ins as space permits. We plan to post this program's recording on our website for future reference on our new adult caregivers' reference page. |
