The Pennsylvania Library Association advocacy efforts are focused on the state level, and coordinated with the American Library Association (ALA) for federal activities.
The David J. Roberts EXCEL Award is a recognition of the best of the Best Practices Awards for programming for youth. The goal of the Endowment is to continue the important recognition of early literacy programs, and support the annual cash award to a library.
The Pennsylvania Library Association Board of Directors reserves the right to review the purpose of the endowment to meet future needs of the association.
Ex Libris Annual Giving Society is open to all who wish to make an unrestricted annual gift and/or renew membership in the Ex Libris Society.

You are invited to make an annual donation by check, ACH, or credit card, or you may use a credit card to make recurring monthly payments to reach the appropriate giving level.
Membership in the Ex Libris Society is an additional contribution and distinct from personal membership in the Pennsylvania Library Association.

The Pennsylvania Library Association offers scholarships for those pursuing a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. These scholarships are only available to members of the Pennsylvania Library Association.
Additional scholarships may be provided toward participation in leadership development programs, ALA Emerging Leaders Program, and annual conference attendance. Your generous donations help make these possible!
