Description:

Sea Shanty Challenge!
March 6-27
Join Teen Services Librarian Miss Gina & Matthew Wedd of Conococheague Institute for a Sea Shanty Challenge! We’ll dive into 18th century colonial life, and challenge each other to sing some popular seafaring & tavern songs. Finally, we’ll challenge YOU to try to sing it better than us.

This program takes place entirely via video. The original video posts to our social media on Saturday March 6th. Submit your own sea shanty rendition video (family-friendly, please) by March 27th! Miss Gina will create a montage video of the entries, also to be posted on our social media.

The contest is geared towards teens, but kids & adults are also welcome to submit entries!
