Library Type Public Description Madcap Mondays is a free, weekly program offered throughout the school year to students in grades 3-7. This year’s sessions are designed around the theme of being green and environmentally friendly. Each week, staff share information on environmental challenges and ways to get involved and make a positive impact on the environment and in our community. The information is provided in context with an upcycling activity where students take an everyday object and give it new life. Ideas for activities are found on Pinterest and other websites. For example, students brought in an old t-shirt and created a no-sew bag to use. Tags: Children Civic & Social Frank Sarris Public Library Teen |
