Like many organizations, the Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) relies heavily on the willingness of our members to share their expertise and assist with the execution of projects, and this need comes fully into play at the annual conference. Volunteering at the conference is a fantastic way to meet new people, hone your skills, or learn new ones and enhance your overall conference experience!
Coffee Talk Setup
Pick up the conversation prompts from registration and place them on the tables in the coffee talk room.

Be at the hub of conference activity and meet & greet conference attendees as they arrive.

Session Monitors
Meet with presenters 10 minutes before the session. Announce the session title, assist with the Q&A process, distribute ACT 48 vouchers and remind attendees to complete session evaluations. (Consider signing up to cover some individual sessions that you plan to attend!)

All session monitors are encouraged to attend the 30 Minute or Less Virtual Orientation on Wednesday, September 16 @ 2:30 PM. Zoom link will be emailed a few days prior to the session.
