Warm Fuzzies & Hot Cocoa

Come have a cup of hot cocoa while cozying up with your favorite blanket around our flashlight “fire”. Let’s chill out with stories of warmth, kindness, and personal triumphs. Little Bookworms Storytime

Storytime program in two parts. The first part is lead by the Children’s Librarian (Lisa Green) and she alternates stories and songs. The second part of the program is free play with library provided manipulatives. This way we provide structured activities that helps with the children’s literacy skills. We also provide opportunities for the children to do parallel play in a neutral environment and allows the guardians to converse while supervising their children.

The Lansdale Library RPG Program

It is a bi-weekly role-playing game for teens, 10 years and older. Each story is based on scenarios obtained from Roll for Learning: 51 micro tabletop role-playing games to use in the classroom, edited by Camilla Zamboni, Matthew Farber, and William Merchant. The book can be found at https://playstorypress.org Each one of the scenarios are aligned to Common Core standards and based on ages, the scenarios provide the scene and what the children are expected to learn (or practice).
