Refund Policy
Refunds of registration fees must be requested in writing before September 5, 2026. A $40
processing fee will be assessed for registration cancellations.
To discourage attendance of those who may have COVID, or other illnesses, written requests for
refunds of registration fees after September 5 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If
approved, refunds will be subject to the $40 cancellation fee and will not include the cost of
meals or tours.
Approved refunds will be processed after the conference.
Refunds for tours & activities are not offered. However unwanted tickets may be given to
another conference participant.
Conduct Policy
The Pennsylvania Library Association is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference
experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual
orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion or political affiliation. We
do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants
violating these rules may be blocked from participation (without a refund) at the discretion of
the conference organizers.
Image & Content Release
Conference participants are advised that their attendance of in-person or virtual conferences
grants permission for use of images captured during the event, recording of chat conversations,
Q&A log and/or use of any other participatory images or content captured during the live
event. This content may be viewable in recordings made available after the live event or by
PaLA in recaps of the event or for marketing of future events.
Release of Contact Information
Our exhibitors are our partners, and as such we will share your contact information to include
name, job title, library name, library type and email address with these partners. They will be
directed to only use this information a maximum of two times: once before the conference and
once after the conference, to contact you with information regarding offers or services relative
to your library work. If you would like to opt out from having your information shared, please
contact admin@palibraries.org to exercise this option.
