Can your teen spot reliable information online? Join us for a special teen program in partnership with the Chester County History Center, designed for students in grades 6-12th who want to level up their historical research skills. Teens will learn how to explore primary sources and navigate student databases such as: POWER library and GALE. We’ll also introduce National History Day, share project ideas, and show students how they can participate in the competition this year. PA Forward: Information Literacy & Civic and Social Literacy

Laura offers free ASL classes monthly at the library to teach and provide practice opportunities for those who wish to become fluent.

Calling all creative minds! Join our After School Art Club at the borough building for hands-on art projects, new techniques, and plenty of fun with friends. Each student receives a punch card to track attendance—fill your card to earn a prize of art supplies to take home! This program helps middle schoolers by encouraging collaboration, self-expression, and respectful sharing of ideas in a creative group environment. Students learn to communicate through art while building confidence and meaningful connections with peers.

To celebrate the last meeting of 2025, we will be showing the holiday anime film Toyko Godfathers and eating pizza!

Arielle Herzberg PT, DPT, CLT, CYT and Andrea Ramsey PTA, UPMC Rehabilitation Institute will share the benefits of participating in therapy to prepare for radiation treatments and continuing it throughout the treatment to reduce the effects of radiation. We will also discuss strength after breast cancer treatment.

Are you ready for some STEAM fun? STEAM for Kids is geared toward children ages 6 to 11. Come participate in a hands-on STEAM activity. Have some fun creating and playing a handmade game.

A STEAM-based hands-on storytime for children 3 1/2 to 6 years of age. Each week we will read a story, talk about what happened then do a hands-on STEAM activity related to the book.

Have you ever wondered how your heart beats? Or why is it so hard to taste when you have a stuffy nose? And what’s with that weird crust you get on the inside corner of your eyes sometimes? Also, why can’t I lick my elbow?!?! If so, you are just the curious mind we are looking for to join in on our exciting exploration of the human body! In this program, children will delve into learning about the human body through a combination of storytelling, hands-on activities, and interactive demonstrations! Ages 6-9.
