We had a master gardener come and present on how to collect seeds and start them indoors. We provided each attendee with a seed starter mix, peat pots, and seeds. This program was held as the kick-off to our Seed Library.

Learn MoreAbington Community Library celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Lackawanna County Library System as one of the libraries hosting the “Taste the World” series. Our Library featured mediterranean cuisine and partnered with one of the local mediterranean restaurants. The chef prepared Mediterranean dishes and spoke about the history of Mediterranean cuisine.
